Sue grew up in Reading, Pennsylvania. After graduating from college in Vermont, she moved to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. While in Jackson Hole, Sue was a professional newspaper photographer and manager of a corporate guest lodge.

Sue has lived in Falmouth for 34 years. Her twin sons, now 29, attended the Falmouth Public Schools. Sue was active in the Soccer and Ski Club boosters during that time.

Sue is a master gardener and enjoys skiing, golf, tennis and boating on Casco Bay.
